A Case of Organized Hematoma of the Maxillary Sinus Combined with Inverted Papilloma

Abstract
Organized hematoma is histologically benign lesion. But Organizing procedure of hematoma increase pressure of hematoma, and lead to erosion of adjacent tissues. Organized hematoma of the maxillary sinus is especially very rare. Organized hematoma should be included in the differential diagnosis when patients have history of frequent epistaxis, nasal stuffiness and expansile lesion in the unilateral maxillary sinus. We report a case of organized hematoma of the maxillary sinus that extended to contralateral nasal cavity through septum and combined with inverted papilloma.
